In Solitude, a Constellation Shines
Date
November 2024
"In a solitary life, there are rare moments when another soul dips near yours, as stars once a year brush the earth. Such a constellation was he to me." - Circe by Madeline Miller
This illustration is inspired by a quote I read in Circe by Madeline Miller. I’ve interpreted the quote in my own way, aiming to convey the idea that both space and home are vessels for memories. When a loved one leaves, it can feel as though home itself departs with them. Yet, despite the loss, the memories they leave behind become like stars and constellations—always present, offering guidance as we move forward.
