I designed a book cover for one of my favourite childhood reads — Heidi by Johanna Spyri.

For this design, I focused on creating an expressive, detailed look, using a limited colour palette to bring a more sophisticated and contemporary feel while still capturing a sense of warmth and nostalgia. I also incorporated hand lettering for the title to tie the visual elements together and enhance the overall cohesiveness of the design.

Revisiting this book through illustration was such a joy, it brought back fond memories, and I loved using expressive details to convey that feeling of nostalgia. I’m really proud of how it turned out and would love to explore more projects like this in the future.
